Fuel System Service

The Cost of a Dirty Fuel System
A recent study found that a consumer driving a vehicle with a dirty fuel system for 30,000 miles per year, could actually spend an estimated $500 more on fuel due to lost fuel economy.  And this was calculated with a fuel cost of of 2.29 per gallon.

Today's fuel injection systems operate under very strict conditions, with microscopic tolerances.  Even the smallest speck of dirt, carbon or other deposits can directly affect the fuel delivery.  This is shy cleanliness is vital in a fuel system

New vehicles today run just as they were designed.  They provide smooth and quick acceleration, great fuel economy and plenty of power.  However, after 5,000 to 6,000 miles, these engines begin to lose that initial responsiveness and efficiency due an accumulation of fuel-related deposits.

Why Deposits Form
Fuel-related deposits form from a combination of gasoline additives, engine heat and driving habits.  A high quality detergent gasoline may help control deposit formation, but it also contributes to it.  While these detergents work well in most cases, they can cause other problems in an engine.

Since the opening of a fuel injector is no larger than the diameter of a human hair, it doesn't take very long for these deposits to build up in the intake manifold, on the back of the intake valves, inside the combustion chamber, on the oxygen sensor and also in the catalytic converter.  Airflow is also affected, and a 15% reduction in fuel and airflow can result in a 59% loss in power.  Deposits can also cause a vehicle to fail emissions testing.

What's the Solution?
Fortunately there is a solution to all of these fuel-related problems due to deposit buildup - a fuel system cleaning service.  This service will clean up the system and restore it to optimum operating efficiency.

Have your fuel system serviced, and you'll be happy with the results... Better performance and fuel economy.
